Internet

Nowadays young people use Internet for all uses from talking to friends to buy clothes I will talk about social networks like facebook, messenger or metroflog.
For example, the messenger is used to talk to their friends especially young people. It permits you making a conversation and send images and archives. It's fast, comfortable and cheap. Every week I use a webcam which I can see my family immediately because they live far from here.
The facebook is the most used. It's a recent and famous programme. It's a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends. There are a lot of tasks for example:
It permits you talking to your friends, know people's life, playing games, making different tests, put your photos and videos...
Also we use Internet to do classwork
Internet is addictive. My friends are connected all the day. They prefer spend all their time in Internet that to go out.

Pollution

Last week I saw a reportage called "The biggest pollution problem is global warming"

This problem happens when greenhouse gases, such as CO 2 are released into the atmosphere, trapping heat and causing the planet to warm up.
Species living in the sea or rivers are often most strongly affected because water spreads pollution easier than land, and because we often throw our pollution into water

In the institut I learnt that this century is the worst century that our planet has ever known. the plenty of population and consum, industries, factories, new needs..

I don't believe that we have learnt enough to respect our planet because every day the world is more polluted!!

In conclusion, I think that it isn't to late to save the world. Perhaps I am very positive but I belive that we can stop the drought, the pollution, the extinction of some species of animals... We can save the planet. Better now than never

Hi damy!

How are you? I’m very very stressed because I have a lot of exams and homework. Also I work on weekends because I need money to pay car practices, I have five hours and the theoretical expires in July! I have to hurry!!
This year it will be the third time that I will work.
I will work in the restaurant “Bahia” this summer .I will work as a waitress. Also I will study "selectivitat” if I aprove, and absolutely sure go to the parties with you.
I will haven't free day in summer! It's horrible! but of course at the summer is the busiest time for the tourist.
Will you work in the camping "Salatà"? Write me and explain to all!

I’m looking forward to work because every summer there are a lot of experience for me! I will practise a lot English and French because there are a lot of tourist.
I haven't free time but in the nights we will go to discos and beach!

The TV and serials!

Today I explain my serial favourite. Watching television is one of my most enjoyable hobbies. I believe that the television is important because you can see the news that happend in our world and differents serials, programms and films,
There are differents types of serials for example love, drama, historical, horror, teen, cartoons (simpsons)...
The worst of the serials are adverts.
My favorite serial is "The simpsons", is a american serial that do in Antena 3 every day from 14:00 hours at 15:00 hours. These serial look millions people around the world. It's a satirical parody of a working-class American.
My second favourite serial is "Lie to me" an American television series that premiered on January, 2009. The finality of serial is reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions. It's very interesting! I learned a lot!

When I was little, my favorite cartoons were" Candy candy" and "George" Now I prefer cartoons for adults like "American Dad"or "South Park".

New: why do we sleep?

A recent study may have an answer why do we sleep?
We need around eight hours sleep and babies need 14 hours. Animals as pythons,
and bats are at over 18 hours a day. Sleep is necessary to function well.
The University of Los Angeles, made a study of the sleep times of differents animals.
First of all, migrating birds, can survive long periods without sleeping.
Coinciding with the animals that are more difficult to survive.
In general sleep helps make best use of limited resources
For example In humans recover the energy used, and we can act appropriately.
Study says people who sleep eight hours minimum has more lucky and beauty than others! Sleeping is very positive!

Interesting countries

BRAZIL...!!
I'll talk about sports,language,music, food... of my favourite countries around the world.
Brazil's food; their diet includes meat,rice,beans,cheese,and eggs. Lunch is the most important meal and brazilian use a very common recipe. Her name's Sarapatel. It consists: the liver, heart, fresh blood of pig is mixed with tomatoes, peppers, and onions!!
The famous dance is the Samba. It's the national beat. I love to see samba dancing .
In brazil speak Portuguese, I only know in this language this: "tudau" and "ate logo" means, goodbye and see you soon.
The national sport is football.

I did my report on India when I was ESO and I learned lots of cool stuff on the Indian's country. I choose the country because there is a city with my name. Sara's city is in westhern part.
For me it's very interesting! Most Indians in the northern part of India do not eat meat at all and some don't even eat eggs!! They are brahamns.
Indians in the southern parts of India do eat meat but different families don't eat certain kinds according to the kind of religion.
The traditional marriage in India is when the parents of the bride chose a man to be her husband. New Years also is one of the biggest holidays in India.
Is when the native Indians clean out their house's to invite their god to enter and cleanse them of all sins they have done during the year. The children in India wear uniforms and the kidnappers know if is a kid in the school or if it is just a normal kid.

Teenage Pregnancy

My sister had a baby at the end of last year. She is eighteen years old. Life may be problematic for a teenage mother and her child. One consequence of teenage pregnancy is to drop out of high school. When education is interrupted, a teenage mother has difficulty to find and keep a job. My sister dependent on my family and on public assistance. The last week I read that a child born to a teenage mother had 50 percent more likely to repeat a course in school and drop out before finishing high school. I don't want this future for my niece!
About 4 in 10 teenage girls become pregnant at least once before age 20 a lot of developed countries it's very surprising! I have been thinking about what it means to raise a child who has no father. I am terrified. I suffer a lot about this topic.
I couldn't imagine not having a dad. We don't know where is the father but life continous, and the most important is to give a lot of love!

News: Most valuable brands

The global recession has affected the world brand names. According to a recent report of University of California.
Some cars, motocycles, luxury product, clothing, manufacturers have been seriously attack by the economic downturn.
Coca-Cola is currently worth $68bn. Its benefits haven't suffered drastic change,
Car companies, such as BMW and Toyota, along with Harley Davidson motorcycles, have diminished the value of their brands.
Also some luxury firms, like watchmakers Cartier and Rolex, and Armani clothing.
The consumers don't value expensive things they want to cover their basic needs when times are hard.
Meantime firms with relatively cheap products as McDonalds fast food and Kellogg's cornflakes, for example. their brands have suffered recession.
But Google, thanks to the search for bargains online, it has benefited.

According to the report, the world's five most valuable brands are Coca-Cola, IBM, Microsoft, General Electric and Nokia, unchanged from last year.

UNESCO means United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
This institution confirms that more than two thousand languages of the world's six thousand languages are in danger of extinction.
About five hundred are spoken by less than thousand persons. Every time that a language die, the UNESCO says the world loses valuable cultural heritage. UNESCO says government action is important if the world want to preserve its linguistic diversity. One thing needed is that people must be proud to speak their language to ensure it survives. For example in 2008, Alaska's last native speaker of Eyak died, he and her language.
The eyaks wanted to to save her people's heritage but it's late. And also only three people speak ma tike, an Australian Aboriginal language.

UNESCO says the phenomenon of dying languages appears in different regions and diverse economic conditions.

News: Crime or culture?

In Madrid has take place a small concentration of about 1000 people to call for an end to bullfighting in Spain.
Many see this topic as cruel problem while others says it as an traditional part of Spanish culture.
Animal rights activists and ecologists meet in Puerta del Sol square. The Madrid regional government want to declare this practice as ilegal.
In the manifestation there are a lot of protestors. Their words were - "I feel very abashed of being Spanish when I hear of these crimes, and people say this torture is culture!! But many spaniards reject accusations of cruelty.
Thousands to the country's bullringsare visited by Tourists from around the world. Autonomous region of spain debating a possible ban for bullfighting but actually it's part of the nation's culture.

Maria" is a song by the American band Blondie, taken from their 1999 album "No Exit". I like this song because it reminds me unforgettable moments, Before the translation I did not know exactly what the song meant. Now I have learned the meaning that is different than I thought!!!!!!!

I like my friend Fran. Is the best. He has never married and he lives all alone in a pretty village near Ourense. He has forty-three or more, but he's still quite young in spirit. He has strong complexion, curly brown hair, and deep dark eyes. He's tin and he has a pretty face and when he laught, he has friendly smile. In general his face is attractive and I don't understand because he has single.
My friend Fran likes a lot of sports. It's a very active person but now he don't practise any sport. He like to take his dog for long walks in the village. He was in the army. He doing something to help others! He have much time to relax but I think that my friend isn't happy because he don't enjoy good life!!

film :KILL BILL

Kill Bill is a film by writer-director Quentin Tarantino. A movie in two volumes. Its released in 2003 and 2004, but I will explain kill bill 2. The film is an epic revenge drama. Filming took place in California, Texas, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Mexico.

Beatriz continuing her vengeance against her ex-boss, Bill, her objetives is kill at Bill's younger brother Budd and Elle Driver, the only survivors from the squad of assassins who betrayed her four years earlier. she killed Vernita Green and O'Ren Ishii. Continuing her vengeance. Also she kills Bill's younger brother Budd who is now a bouncer at a strip club and Elle Driver. Bill has her daughter B.B in his custody, that she thought died while she was in her coma.

However in the end, she will kill Bill.

my city Ronda*

Ronda is a city in the Spanish province of Málaga. It's my favourite place because there are a lot of important things such as rivers, mountains, museums, the beautiful cathedral... It's a very old city that was very important in trade.
The river that passes along city is “the Gualadavin”, which is a good place to fish.
There is not airport, put it isn’t necessary because there are train, buses and
taxis. It's is a small city, it has only 40.000 habitants. Nowadays the main sights are three bridges,Roman Bridge, Old Bridge and New Bridge, another important site in Ronda is "the Plaza de toros de Ronda", the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain that is still used.The partially intact "Arab baths" are found below the city and date back to the 13th and 14th centuries. It's fantastic!
From my point of view small cities like Ronda are better to live in than big cities
like Madrid or Barcelona.

Smoking is harmful!!!!!!

Some people think that smoking is not dangereous and harmful. I smoke in a few times and know the problems caused. Smoking can produce a lot of illnesses like lung cancer, it is also a risk factor for cancer of the bladder, kidney, cervix, throat... However, a lot of people in the world smoke continiously until they died. Lung cancer kills one person every 5 minutes in the world. Cigarette smoke contains 4000 compounds, many of which are toxic and can cause damage to cells. The three principals components of cigarette smoke are: Nicotine, Carbon monoxide and Tar.
Other people think that smoking only a few cigarettes a day it's not problem.
For addict people smoking is good because tobacco can keep them calm a lot for a moment.
Really it isn’t good for our lives and for our society.
Smoking doesn't just harm the smoker. It can also cause disease and death among people exposed to the smoke. It'is particularly damaging to babies and children whose parents smoke in the home. Passive smoking may also cause premature birth, babies with low birth, respiratory problems...

NEWS: PREGNANT TIGER DEADS IN ZOO

Malyska is a Siberian tiger, which was pregnant with three cubs, has drowned in a strange accident at a zoo.
she had five years old and she was found dead by keepers in a shallow pool.
An autopsy confirmed Malyshka had drowned, but the cause of the accident was a mystery!
The director of Banham Zoo, Malyshka was such a strong and healthy tigress and showed no signs of external or internal injuries. All the zoo staff are very much saddened by her loss.
Malyska is a Amur Tiger, there are believed to be no more than 450 adult Amur tigers left in the wild.

I have been in my town nearly sixteen years. I'm enjoying it! I think that the best is the atmosphere, the mixture of all kinds of people. The difference of everything. It's exciting. I love the architecture, it's so different from others countries. Catalans have a reputation for being rude and niggard, but I don't think that's true.
Life here seems much quiet than Figueras, Girona... Here I've made friends, it's easy to make friends outside of work. The people is very friendly. In my opinion the people who work in restaurants or shops often is antipathetic . I like my town because there aren't the crowds, the dirt, the traffic...I think it's just wonderful. It has some great restaurants. My favourite here is "the caprix"

Her name's Romina. She's 18 years old and she from Barcelona. She lives in Girona since 7 years ago. She's small, she has got brown eyes and blond hair. Romina's beautiful. I think she's a happy and relaxed person. Everybody says that she is intelligent but lazy. She's interested in sport and she love swimming, aerobic, badminton... She is not very good at tennis but she like watching it on TV. She is very sociable and has got a lot of friends. She is very honest with their friends. She likes talking much. She loves going to parties or concerts. She hates staying at home at weekends. She enjoy cooking and she like learning new recipes. Her favourite food is italien. Always she says me that she sometimes feels like an adult and sometimes like a child.

LOSING MY RELIGION by REM

One of my favourite songs is "Losing my religion" by the American alternative rock band R.E.M. The song was released in February, 1991 in the United States from album "Out of time". The song won a series of critical praise. The single was nominated for seven awards at the "Grammy Award".
The background and writter's song are Bill Berry, Peter B, Mike Mill. REM guitarist Peter Buck created the song on a mandulin while he watching television. He had just bought the instrument and he learntbhow to play it.
Today, it's a famous song, occupies the top ranking from music programmes. I especially like topic, the song title comes from a very common espression in the United States, losing my religion, which means losing control or out of their boxes.
Is one of the few songs that do not get bored if you listen often!!!

**Spain Gastronomy**

In Spain you will enjoy quality, variety and plenty of taste. They have excellent ingredients and cooking a good techniques. The spanish diet is rich and balanced. Everybody can find a lot of typical dishes.
Firsty, in northern Spain the people just have to try the shellfish: boiled or grillen. Also "a feira" and "empanada" are galician specialities. In Asturies there are "caldereta" (fish stew), "fabada" (bean and pork casserole) and rice puddig.
Cantabria, it's famous the squid in onion sauce and you should try "quesada" (made with eggs,cream, cheese and sugar) or "sobaos pasiegos" (a kind of sponge).
In the Basque Country. you will enjoy, "Pil-pil cod", "marmitako"(casserole with bonito and potato) and traditional "pinchos"(miniature culinary creations)
Spain's Mediterranean coast is a paradise for lovers vegetables, pulses and rice.
Eating tapas is very communplace in Andalusia. The typical tapas are: fried fish, ham, shrimp omelettes... There are classic dishes of the region like "gazpacho" "salmorejo"...
